Big boneless in Thrasher

Publishing maven, Shawn Rylander, has stepped it up with a photo in the current issue of Thrasher. A mighty deathbox boneless at the Banana Farm. Congrats on the coverage, Shawn! (note: the photo to the left is proof that I found him first.)
Speaking of publishing, the Onion is now being distributed for free in Austin with localized advertising. Go pick it up at a coffee shop like the Flightpath @ the corner of 51st and Duval. This will be helpful for planning our weekend activities because it seems like Austin has been lacking for event listing resources.
Speaking of Austin events, the Flip team will demo at the Skatepark of Austin this Sunday. Rowley, Burnquist, Glifberg, et. al will showcase skateboarding techniques and tricks for all spectators willing to part with a meager $5 entry fee.
Michael Sieben had a pre-Halloween barbecue to unveil the new mini-ramp he had constructed in his backyard. It’s a really cool ramp with lots of elements without being overly-cluttered. The same guy who built the original part of the T1 ramp did the worksmanship on Michael’s skatelite-surfaced ramp. I took a few runs on it and found it to be very fast. Shawn Collie shot some photos that he posted to the ASN gallery and are probably on his own site – www.lovelifephotography.com.

So the whole article on Micheals’ excuses for not building a mini ramp were a lie. I am so disillusioned.

Any more on the cement mini construction off Airport?

fireskill,
Had a meeting last week with the neighborhood group. They pointed at a spot they want it built. Need to meet with a couple guys from the city, but I’m out of town this week. Hopefully, they’ll be around next week.
